As we explained in the previous post, Air Navigation Aid Equipment Inspections are carried out by the GEIV team using aircraft and measuring equipment. With the advancement of technology, this inspection model has been modernized, bringing several benefits to in-flight inspections, such as reduced costs, time and agility. In European countries, for example, airport concessionaires already use Drones as a tool for measuring and approving systems, and here in Brazil the GEIV team is starting to advance in the use of this technology.

On Thursday, October 26, 2023, our technical team was at São José dos Campos Airport demonstrating one of the In-Flight Inspection Systems using Drones, which we represent, for the Technical Team of the Brazilian Air Force .

On this day, we had the opportunity to demonstrate the Inspection of the equipment called PAPI at head 16 of the Airport. In the morning, our team provided a technical explanation of the System's operation and clarified doubts regarding the equipment. In the afternoon, our team went to the track, and was able to demonstrate in practice how the operation is carried out. At the end of the event, we met once again to show and deliver the results obtained in the operation and talked about the benefits that can be obtained with this equipment.
